1960

The Cotillion opens on Dec. 7, 1960, with the Ted Weems Orchestra.

1961

"Mr. W. Farha and I send our thanks to you for the manner in which the management handled the ball for the Danny Thomas benefit for Aiding Leukemia Stricken American Children (ALSAC). The staff was most cooperative, and everyone seemed contended, and having a good time." - Howard. C. K. (May 15, 1961)

1964

Louie Armstrong entertains fans at The Cotillion.

Many local bands played The Cotillion as well. The Apostles was one of them.

1966

Richard M. "Dick" Leslie, chairman and founder, died on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000. He was one of 21 investors who built and opened The Cotillion Ballroom. A plaque in his memory is displayed in the lobby.
