COMMENTS
“Good morning, Thanks to you and your staff for offering and providing so much help for ArtAid Friday night. With your help, the event was a success. Thanks again for all the help.” —Marc Durfee (October 13, 2014)
“I just want to extend a huge THANK YOU to you both, as well as your staff, for Friday. There were a few hiccups on our end I know, and I super appreciated your team being so patient and accommodating. As well as you both with me in my first year of really trying to grasp how all of this works! Thank you again!” —R Executive Director, Positive Directions & Jones Gallery (October 13, 2014)
“Thanks to 101.3 Today’s KFDI and The Cotillion, our second annual All for the Paws concert was a huge success. On August 10, more than 1000 people supported KHS by watching American Idol winner and renowned country music star Scotty McCreery put on an amazing show. Long time animal advocate Bobby Bones performed with his band The Raging Idiots to a sold out Cotillion crowd on September 5, with all proceeds benefitting KHS.” —Kansas Humane Society (September 5, 2014)
“Good Morning Richard, Everything went fine man. I really loved the facilities and Ryan was really helpful and accommodating. We ended up breaking even which was expected because Conjunto Amanecer isn’t a big-time group such as Huracanes or Rieleros are. They usually pull the big crowds. I wanted to test the Wichita market on a Saturday and I think it’s going to work. I look forward to working with you and booking more events at The Cotillion. I appreciate the hospitality and all you guys did on your end to ensure we were successful.” —D (September 6, 2013) “Richard, Thank you, Catherine and your entire staff. So much of the success was due to your efforts and I appreciated your patience with some of our missteps. The bands, the crowd, and the ACS were all extremely pleased with the event and we couldn’t have had it in a better venue. Thank you again and I hope we do another event with you in the future. ” —Jason Schlitz (August 22, 2009) “I would like to thank you for being the host sponsor of our February Destination Exchange event. You all did a GREAT job! Our members commented on how much they enjoyed the venue, the history represented by The Cotillion and the amazing performance by Kelley Hunt. Our 2009 Destination Exchange season has started on a very high note thanks to your efforts. Again, thanks for hosting and we look forward to our continued partnership…” —Michael L., Greater Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau (February 24, 2009) “Thank you for all your hard work with our wedding. The day was wonderful. We appreciate everything that you did for us. We had a great time. Talk to you all soon.” —Jeff & Nicky (September 23, 2006) “Thank you so much for all your help and for the use of The Cotillion. We cleared over $1,500 for the China mission trip and will use every bit of it to send the folks over to China. I was very pleased with the whole feel of the evening and really appreciate all your help and guidance to make it happen. The Cotillion was a great venue. …. Your security people were a pleasure to work with.” —Rob E. (May 23, 2005) “Thank—you for your help with my promotion of the Toughman Contest” —Sincerely, Rick R. “Please accept this letter of appreciation for your work and the work of your staff. You really added to the success of the 1974 Kansas Credit Union League Annual Meeting. The comments from the delegates, guests and stag have been favorable toward The Cotillion as a facility, and toward the people associated with it… We will be happy to recommend The Cotillion to others.” —Dennis H. (June 6, 1974) “The Officers and members of the Local Lodge 834 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers wish to express their appreciation to you for leasing The Cotillion to us for our recent contract meetings. Your kindness and consideration is deeply appreciated…” —Georgia M. (February 16, 1972) “I want to thank you for providing the facilities and making the necessary, comfortable arrangements for meals and meetings so that the School Psychologists could have a very enjoyable and successful meeting… Your building was quite large for the size of our group, but the size actually served a good purpose in that we were able to move from the tables at meal time to a clean area for our meetings… Thank you and your staff very much for the kind, cooperative efforts that you all put forth to make the time spent with you enjoyable for all.” —Lowell W. on behalf of Hutchinson Public Schools (November 9, 1971) “On behalf of the ROTC Cadet Corps at Wichita State University, I wish to express appreciation for your activities connected with our Military Ball of 26 March. Your impressive facility was an ideal location for our function. You and your staff members were most cooperative in both the planning and operation stages of the event. And the preparations you made were thoughtful and detailed so as to leave nothing to chance. Please accept our sincere thanks for all of your efforts which contributed significantly to the enjoyment of a highly successful social occasion.” —Robert S. with the Department of Aerospace Studies (March 29, 1971) “Just a short note to express our thanks for your fine hospitality and assistance. The food and service were very fine. All in all, a very successful party.” —Robert C. for The Fourth National Bank and Trust Company (March 4, 1971) “It’s the best show Fox-Vliet has ever had!’ I can’t tell you how many times we heard this statement made by customers, Fox-Viliet salesmen and manufacturers’ representatives during the two day show. One of the most important features, we think, was the willingness with which all The Cotillion employees responded to the many demands made on them. Please thank everyone of them for us!” —Gene M. (August 5, 1970) “We would like to compliment you and your staff on the excellent manner in which our needs were met during our recent salesmen and membership meetings held at The Cotillion on Sunday and Monday, March 22 and 23… Your cooperation will be certainly kept in mind the next time we are selecting a location for one of our functions.” —Donald R., Associated Grocers’ company of St. Louis, MO, Wichita Division (March 30, 1970) “IT WAS JUST TREMENDOUS, and it seems to get better every year! We are hopeful to be able to continue our fine relationship in the future. Thank you for the fine services rendered for our Prom. We are gratefully appreciative.” —John H. of Sacred Heart College (May 29, 1968) “Just a brief note to let you know how much we enjoyed our party at The Cotillion last Thursday night. I have received many compliments but am certain that much of our success depended on your splendid cooperation. Thanks again for your help. Hope to be back next year.” —C. W. N. for St. Francis Hospital (December 20, 1965) “Just had to write and express our appreciation to you for all the help given to make our Ball such a success! … all groups involved feel it was a delightful party and well worth the expense. Our special thanks to you for al the little things’ during the planning stages, and especially the night of the ball… I hope we have started something that will in the future be considered tradition’ in the way of Petroleum Balls!” —Mona H. with Oil Secretaries Association (October 29, 1965) “Just a short note to say thanks a lot… All of us at the Institute who responded to your generosity are most grateful.” —John W. K. (October 23, 1963) “Thank you for the time and effort which you gave to help make the Dedication Ball such a success. Your efforts and assistance in helping to schedule the rehearsals and coordinating the many details are sincerely appreciated. We truly feel we held a successful show —this would not have been possible without the use of The Cotillion. So, we say, thank you.” —Rosemary A C. (March 12, 1962) “This is a note of appreciation for the excellent cooperation we received from all the members of your staff and yourself at our recent meeting at The Cotillion… The Cotillion furnished an excellent setting and atmosphere for our meeting. Two specific benefits which resulted from use of The Cotillion were one, a change of atmosphere, and second, having all our people away from the hotel and at a specific meeting location. It relieved the problem of interruptions and helped to keep people’s attention throughout the program… I will be happy at any time to express our feelings to other interested parties should you desire to refer them.” —Kenneth J. for Cessna Aircraft Company (September 6, 1961) “A letter is not much thanks, but I do want to let you know how much we appreciate your contribution to and cooperation in our recent “Centennial Sweetheart” wedding.
